What's alga.lab?
alga.lab is a new venture, dedicated to fostering creativity and sustainability by teaching hands-on techniques for making biomaterials, such as bio-yarn from algae. Its mission is to inspire people to explore eco-friendly alternatives to traditional materials and to embrace sustainable design through craft and innovation. alga.lab values environmental consciousness, community engagement, and the power of creativity to drive meaningful change in the way we think about resources.

The first alga.lab workshop is launching on Saturday 16th November.
The workshop will run for two hours, from 2-4pm.

During which time you'll learn how to create bio-yarn from algae and explore sustainable design techniques, leaving with your own eco-friendly creation and a deeper understanding of biomaterials.

The location of the workshop is at The Bath House, 80 Eastway, Hackney Wick, London E9 5JH
Price for the workshop is £30 per person, which covers the cost of the space, materials and expertise.
